Rise of Flight

Rise of Flight (RoF) was released in 2009. At the time of release it was the most advanced WWI flight sim available. Most would agree that it has accomplished that with its realistic flight and damage models. The game designers intend to release updates along the way since the recreation of the entire war in the sky during 1916 -1918; a daunting task.

This was arguably an intelligent approach, although falling short of expectations of those enthusiasts who demand a perfect, comprehensive and complete product NOW.

As is to be expected of any new game, especially one as advanced as RoF, the designers continue to refine and improve upon this latest valuable work in progress representing the WWI air war. RoF was designed with this long term development and refinement in mind. When released, only the most powerful and current of machines were able to fly RoF.
