As some of you noticed some WW 1 Officiers have a Scare in their face......this scare is the so called Schmiss.
The academic fancing is one of the oldest german student traditions here i have a short film over the Mensur ( how we students how practice it call the academic fancing)
That you know how the Gentelman of the german air sirvice get to their scares.
Also our Jasta had a member in a fratornity. our leader Bäumer.
Also another important thing about Bäumer he was so prominent that Erich Maria Remarque named his protagonist in his book "all quiet on the westernfront" after him!
We as a "tradition Jasta" could be proud about that!
I wish you fun watching it.
PS: By the way i fought 3 Mensurs till know so i know what i am talking about

I miss it a lot. Too late to go back now. My condition hit rock bottom.
