If you get a file transfer error on a mission do this

Unread post by J5_Rumey » 04 Feb 2012, 11:42

We had to test this again last night.

This happens at times as you load a large mission for the first time. The file get corrupted and the mission will not work for you.

What you need to do is:

Got to your

rise of flight/data/multiplayer/dogfight folder

Delete all the files that has to do with the mission in question, (sort files by name) For instance "j5 handling 1.1"

there will be 7 or 8 files depending on if the mission includes the .mission file or not usually it will not.

Make sure you get all 7 or 8 related files

Try the mission again, it should now work and download the files you need.

I know that you guys had another workaround but that is not necessary if you delete all the corresponding files in your folder.
